Humberto, as a serial entrepreneur, always believed in mastering each step of each business that he got involved in. After he finished writing his first book, in conjunction with Cindy VanDusen, in 2009, "Everything You Need to Ask When Selecting an Assisted Living Facility, he knew he needed to find a publisher, but his inner passion led him to learn how to self publish his own book.
This book went on to win the National Caregiver Award for 2009.
Humberto has always believed in learning and evolving as a person and as a professional.
He is also the Owner and Publisher of '55+ Magazine,' the preferred, bilingual, English/Spanish magazine in the Southeast Region of Florida. His goal is to educate seniors and their families in the community, with the hope of protecting them in their everyday lives. '55+ Magazine' has become the baby boomer's publication of choice, as the free, bilingual senior magazine publication in South Florida. This free, senior magazine is full of information on services, assistance, products and resources for senior citizens, baby boomers, healthcare professionals and caregivers.
In 2013, when Humberto had the chance to record his first professional CD, "UNEXPECTED," once again he immersed himself in the music publishing business and ended up publishing his own work as well as another CD in 2014, "Tango Mundano" which he recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In 2016, Humberto's passion and creativity led him to begin writing new, short plays. Recently, he created "Metodo de Estudio para el Interprete" with writer, director and actor, Carlos Rapolla. This innovative fusion of artists led him to incorporate over 40 years of combined experience, while designing a revolutionary and organic system to be used by musicians, actors, singers, artists and even people in the business world.
